Meridian Should Build a Network of Dependence

Instead, it should control the people powerful clients call at 2:00 a.m.: private doctors, pilots, security teams, cyber-forensics firms, family offices and crisis consultants.
Each person sees only one fragmentâan emergency flight, deleted files, a sudden asset transfer or an unregistered guest.
Meridian sees the pattern.
It could have a Continuity Desk that officially coordinates emergencies but secretly maps fear, loyalty and leverage.
For the clean congressman, I wouldnât use money or sex. Meridian could create a legal crisis involving his sister. Saving her requires one small, undisclosed favorâand that first compromise creates the next one.
The protagonistâs job is not to destroy him, but to discover what he is willing to become for someone he loves.
Has Meridian turned love itself into a Secret Asset?
And should the Archive eventually be destroyed, exposedâor controlled?
